Colors, like fragrances, have a profound effect on our emotions and subconscious. They can be calming or agitating depending on the composition.

My paintings are composed to calm the mind by engaging the viewer in a passive manner. The hues and simple structure of my paintings provide the observer with a sense of serenity.
